Access Information
The 2019 World Fantasy Convention is committed to providing the best possible experience to all our attendees, including those who need visual or auditory interpretive assistance or have limited mobility, or who require other assistance.
Site Access
The Marriott LAX is ADA compliant. Our function space, elevators, public bathrooms and public areas are completely accessible to scooters and wheelchairs.
Access at Information
If you have an Access issue, please contact the Information desk for assistance. The Information desk is located right in the center of the convention floor next to the elevators, staffed by fantastic people who can answer your questions and assist you with your needs.
Reserved Seating
The 2019 World Fantasy Convention will provide a limited amount of reserved seating in all of our program rooms, to accommodate our visually impaired, hard-of-hearing, and mobility challenged visitors. The seats are generally in the front of the room, clearly marked, and available on a first-come first-served basis.
Mobility Rentals
The 2019 World Fantasy Convention will not be providing a mobility rental service, rather we urge our members who require mobility assistance to contact Scootaround Personal Transportation (1-866-380-6485) to make arrangements for a rental and delivery of a mobie or wheelchair. Scootaround has worked with many science fiction and fantasy conventions and is familiar with our needs.
