Art Show
World Fantasy Convention 2019 will feature a world-class Art Show! As World Fantasy is a professional conference, artists who wish to display and sell their art in the art show must be approved by a jury. Artists exempted from the jury process are past World Fantasy Convention (WFC) Guests of Honors, past WFC award winners, or exhibitors in 2 of the last 4 WFC art shows.
Our Art Show’s location and hours of operation are as follows:
- Location: Imperial Ballroom Suite E/F
- Hours:
- Wednesday October 30: Move-in/build/begin artist check-in
- Thursday October 31: 10am-3pm artist check-in; 3pm-6pm open to attendees
- Friday November 1 & Saturday November 2: 10am-6pm open to attendees
- Art Show Reception Saturday November 2, 8pm-10:30pm
- Sunday November 3: 10am-1pm sales/pick-up and pay for bidders; 10am-1pm artist check-out

Art Show Rates & Rules
Panels for 2D art will be 3 feet wide by 4 feet high.
One panel will cost $40.00
Four panels = one bay
Eight panels = two bays (maximum per artist)
World Fantasy also accepts 3D art for display and sale in the art show.
Tables to display 3D art are 6 feet long and 2.5 feet deep.
One table is $60.00 and there is a two table maximum per artist.
There will be a Print Shop for multiple copy items; the fee is $1.00 per item. There will be no artist alley, but there will be an art show reception for all convention members where artists can discuss their work.
Sales commissions from art show sales is 5% on sales in excess of $2000.00. All displaying artists must be WFC members and artists who wish to mail in their art must be WFC supporting members and pay for shipping.
