All World Fantasy Convention members are invited to bring their books and join us Friday night at the Autograph Event. This is your opportunity to eat hors de oeuvres, drink, meet and collect signatures from ~150 artists, authors and editors.
Food and a no-host bar will be located immediately outside the Autograph Event. Food and drink are not allowed inside the Autograph Event room, other than for signers as provided by Autograph Staff.
For Prospective Signers
Any World Fantasy Convention member that wishes to sign their work can do so at the Autograph Event. You can either preselect your seat by visiting the Autographs desk near Registration on Thursday or Friday morning; or, you can just pick up your placard about 15 minutes before the Autograph Event and find an available seat. Those who preselect their seats will have their placards placed at their location and be listed a map outside the Autograph area.
The Dealers Room will NOT be open for book sales during the Autograph Event. Authors can contact Dealers about book consignments by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. All decisions to accept consignments will be made by the individual dealers on a case-by-case basis.
- No wheeled carts or suitcases are allowed in the Autograph area. If you have a lot of books, there will be a table where you can check books while you are getting signatures.
- Because of California tax requirements, World Fantasy Convention 2019 will NOT permit authors to sell their works at the Autograph Event.
